Slüum™ products are Class I Medical Devices regulated by Health Canada. They are designed to support mechanical airflow and promote healthy nighttime breathing habits. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure chronic underlying medical conditions such as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).

External Use Only: Slüum Mouth Tape and Nasal Strips are for external application only.

Breathing Obstructions: Do not use if you have severe nasal congestion, a deviated septum that prevents all nasal airflow, or any condition where mouth breathing is necessary for survival.

Supervision: Not for use by individuals who are unable to remove the product themselves. Not recommended for children under 16 years of age without a consultation with a pediatrician.

Skin Integrity: Do not apply to broken, irritated, or sunburned skin. Discontinue use immediately if a rash or skin irritation develops.

If you suspect you have Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), experience excessive daytime sleepiness, or have been told you stop breathing during sleep, you must consult a licensed healthcare professional.

Note: Slüum products are mechanical aids and are not a replacement for CPAP therapy, surgery, or other physician-prescribed treatments for sleep-related breathing disorders.

Nasal Strips

Single Use: To maintain hygiene and adhesive integrity, strips are for one-time use only.

Post-Surgery: Do not use if you have undergone nasal surgery in the last 6 months unless cleared by your surgeon.

Mouth Tape

Nasal Clearance: Ensure you can breathe comfortably through your nose before applying.

Impairment: DO NOT USE after consuming alcohol, sedatives, or any medication that may impair your ability to wake up or react to breathing discomfort.

Illness: Do not use if you are experiencing nausea, vomiting, or heavy chest congestion.

While our adhesives are hypoallergenic, skin types vary.

Patch Test: Apply a small piece to the inner arm for 30 minutes before first facial use.

Gentle Removal: To minimize the risk of skin "stripping," remove the product slowly. Applying warm water or a small amount of facial oil to the edges can assist in a smoother release.
